Job Description

  • Lead the planning and delivery of audit engagements to ensure work is completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Review audit findings and financial information to identify key matters for discussion and action.
  • Set clear audit scopes, work plans and priorities for assigned engagements.
  • Provide direction on audit procedures and review completed work to maintain consistent quality.
  • Present audit outcomes and recommendations in clear, practical reports.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve audit queries and clarify findings.
  • Monitor engagement progress and address issues that may affect delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to the continued effectiveness of audit processes within the Accounting & Finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Audit Director' should have:

  • Strong capability in leading audit engagements from planning through to final reporting especially in SEC reporting and PCAOB audits.
  • Sound knowledge of audit procedures and the ability to review detailed financial information.
  • Ability to assess audit findings and develop clear, practical recommendations.
  • Experience preparing and presenting audit reports for relevant stakeholders.
  • Confidence in managing audit priorities, timelines and engagement requirements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for discussing complex audit matters.
