We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable (AR) professional to join a reputable company in the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role is based in Muar and focuses on managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate reporting within the Accounting & Finance department.

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and payment collection.
  • Ensure accurate and timely posting of financial transactions into the accounting system.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Prepare and present AR aging reports to management.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of AR activities.
  • Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and insights.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Receivable (AR) professional should have:

  • A degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and financial principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
