Job Description

  • Drive application development initiatives to support business growth in industrial markets.
  • Partner with manufacturers to develop new applications for existing and emerging solutions.
  • Provide product recommendations, application assessments, and technical support.
  • Conduct customer training sessions through onsite engagements and webinars.
  • Analyse product performance, market trends, and competitive solutions.
  • Lead customer field trials and evaluate local market practices.
  • Build expertise in emerging technologies, automation, and industry standards.
  • Gather market insights and contribute to commercialisation strategies.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 3-5 years of application engineering or technical support experience.
  • Knowledge of adhesives, bonding tapes, coated tapes, or labels.
  • Experience with tape converting processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and test data.
  • Experience in product validation, troubleshooting, and customer trials.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
