Job Description

  • Act as the technical and application expert for Digital Power solutions in pre-sales engagements
  • Drive technical specification, homologation, and demand generation for solutions including Protection Relays, Power Metering, Power Quality, and Energy Management Systems
  • Lead technical approvals and compliance alignment with utilities and relevant authorities
  • Collaborate with sales teams to influence specifications and improve pipeline quality and conversion
  • Prepare technical proposals, system architectures, design justifications, and tender documentation
  • Serve as the interface between local market requirements and global product teams
  • Develop and engage the ecosystem of end users, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Deliver technical presentations, workshops, and training to customers and partners
  • Provide advanced (L2) technical support and troubleshoot complex application issues
  • Support opportunity qualification and pre-sales strategy development
  • Ensure consistent and high-quality technical engagement across all project phases
  • Adapt global value propositions to meet local market and customer needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated and competitive solutions

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5-8 years of experience in protection relay solutions and control relay panels
  • Strong expertise in electrical distribution systems and protection relays
  • Experience in technical pre-sales, solution design, and tendering
  • Good understanding of homologation processes, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Ability to translate customer needs into practical technical solutions
  • Experience working with utilities, consultants, contractors, and end users
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to deliver technical workshops and compelling proposals
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Willingness to travel; familiarity with Malaysia market is an advantage
