As an APAC Real Estate Manager in Kuala Lumpur, you will manage property matters for an Industrial / Manufacturing organisation across the APAC region. You will help maintain effective real estate operations that support business needs and property planning.

Job Description

Portfolio Management & Strategy

  • Manage a multi-country corporate office portfolio across APAC.
  • Maintain accurate portfolio and lease data.
  • Analyze utilization, occupancy trends, market conditions, and portfolio performance.
  • Develop recommendations around rightsizing, optimization, relocations, and renewals.



Lease & Transaction Management

  • Lead lease renewals, relocations, site exits, expansions, and new market entries.
  • Manage broker relationships and support lease negotiations.
  • Evaluate commercial terms and real estate opportunities across the region.



Workplace & Facilities Projects

  • Oversee office fit-outs, workplace upgrades, relocations, and redesign projects.
  • Coordinate architects, contractors, furniture vendors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required standards.



Stakeholder Management

  • Lead cross-functional regional committees involving:
    • Finance
    • HR
    • Procurement
    • Legal
    • Sustainability
    • Security
    • IT
    • Site Leadership
  • Present recommendations to senior stakeholders and gain alignment on real estate decisions.



Financial & Vendor Management

  • Develop project budgets and business cases.
  • Monitor spend and ensure cost optimization.
  • Drive value engineering opportunities while maintaining workplace quality.
  • Manage external brokers, project managers, consultants, and contractors.



The Successful Applicant

  • Corporate real estate experience managing offices internally for a multinational company
  • Regional APAC portfolio management experience
  • Multi-country lease management and commercial leasing expertise
  • Experience managing office relocations, workplace projects, and fit-outs
  • Vendor management experience involving brokers, contractors, consultants, and project teams
  • Strong budgeting, financial analysis, and cost optimization capabilities
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders across multiple functions and countries
