Job Description

  • Design, train, and deploy AI/ML and Generative AI models, including LLM fine‑tuning, embeddings, RAG pipelines, and intelligent automation systems.
  • Develop modular Python-based AI services using FastAPI/Flask, scalable architectures, and production best practices.
  • Build end‑to‑end ML pipelines: data ingestion, feature engineering, model training, hyperparameter tuning, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Write high-performance SQL and manage robust PostgreSQL environments with optimized schemas, indexing, and stored procedures.
  • Build ETL/ELT data pipelines supporting model training and real-time inference.
  • Integrate models with cloud services (Azure/OpenAI, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock), APIs, and microservices.
  • Implement MLOps practices: model registries, monitoring, automated retraining, CI/CD for ML workflows.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to transform business objectives into AI-driven technical solutions.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AI Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field, with strong foundations in machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for AI/ML development, including Pandas, NumPy, Scikit‑learn, XGBoost, and experience with major deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Hands‑on experience with LLMs and Generative AI, leveraging OpenAI‑compatible providers (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, etc.), including embeddings, RAG architectures, and prompt engineering.
  • Strong command of SQL and relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, with skills in performance tuning, indexing strategies, query optimization, and PL/pgSQL.
  • Proven ability to build and deploy end‑to‑end AI systems and microservices, including ML pipelines, FastAPI/Flask services, and cloud-based deployments across Azure, GCP, or AWS, with CI/CD and MLOps best practices.
