Job Description

  • Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Oversee vendor relationships, resolving any discrepancies or disputes efficiently.
  • Implement and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Monitor cash flow and forecast payment schedules to optimize financial planning.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and documentation of expenses.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts payable reports for management review.
  • Lead and mentor the accounts payable team to promote professional growth and efficiency.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to accounts payable.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in accounts payable processes within the Shared Services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to work across teams and with external stakeholders.
