Job Description

    • Monitor and improve wafer sort processes to achieve yield, quality, and productivity targets.
    • Investigate and resolve process-related issues affecting production performance.
    • Analyse process data and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve process stability.
    • Support new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, and production ramp activities.
    • Collaborate with equipment, product, quality, and manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to minimise defects and process variation.
    • Develop and maintain process documentation, specifications, and operating procedures.
    • Support process control activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Participate in failure analysis and customer issue investigations when required.
    • Drive cost reduction and cycle time improvement projects.

The Successful Applicant

    • Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline.
    • Minimum 2 to 8 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer sort, test, or process engineering.
    • Experience working in wafer sort, probe, backend semiconductor manufacturing, or ATE environments.
    • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), FMEA, DOE, and problem-solving methodologies.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor test platforms such as Advantest V93K, UltraFLEX, or similar systems is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
    • Experience in yield improvement and process optimisation will be highly regarded.
    • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • Independent, proactive, and driven to achieve results.
