Job Description

  • Manage and oversee trade finance operations, ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade transactions, including letters of credit, guarantees, and trade loans.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and improve operational efficiency.
  • Monitor trade finance processes to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Provide guidance and support to the team to enhance productivity and maintain quality standards.
  • Prepare and review operational reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and inspections.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure best practices in trade operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Trade Operations, AVP should have:

  • Strong knowledge of trade finance products and banking operations.
  • Proven ability to analyze and resolve operational issues efficiently.
  • Good knowledge in International Trade Governing Rules of UCP, ISBP, URC, URR, and Incoterms.
  • Excellent understanding of regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in relevant banking systems and tools.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to guide teams effectively.
  • A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.
