Save Job Back to Search Job Description Summary Similar JobsOpportunity to be a part of large scale projectsOpportunity to work alongside cross functional teamsAbout Our ClientAn organisation operating in the Technology & Telecoms industry within Malaysia.Job DescriptionManage cybersecurity financial governance, including budget planning, expenditure tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, funding requests, and vendor cost management.Develop and deliver management reporting, dashboards, and KPIs covering security operations, incidents, vulnerabilities, compliance, service performance, and financial metrics.Oversee end-to-end cybersecurity project governance, monitoring project progress, risks, budgets, resources, milestones, and executive reporting.Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and Group Information Security teams to ensure effective service delivery, project execution, and security governance.Lead periodic security service reviews, assessing performance, operational risks, improvement opportunities, and tracking remediation actions to closure.Support cyber resilience, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives, including testing, tabletop exercises, recovery planning, and crisis management activities.Drive cybersecurity awareness programs through employee training, phishing simulations, communication campaigns, and measurement of awareness effectiveness.Prepare governance reports for management committees, identify and escalate security, operational, and compliance risks, and ensure achievement of security KPIs, SLAs, budget targets, and project delivery objectives.The Successful ApplicantA successful Technology Security Project & Service Governance Manager should have:Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Risk Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.7-10 years of experience in Information Security, Technology Governance, IT Service Management, Project Management, Operational Risk, or related functions, preferably within banking, insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.Proven track record in governance reporting, service management, project governance, stakeholder management, and supporting cybersecurity programs and regulatory engagements.Preferred professional certifications include CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, and CBCP (or equivalent).Strong expertise in cybersecurity governance, IT service management (ITSM), portfolio and project governance, and regulatory compliance management.Experience in financial planning, budget management, vendor and contract management, management reporting, and dashboard development.Solid understanding of business continuity, cyber resilience, risk management, and operational governance frameworks.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive process improvements and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.What's on OfferContract: 1 year (extendable)Employment benefits as per policy.Opportunity to lead large scale projectsIf this role aligns with your expertise, we encourage you to apply.ContactCharlene FernandezQuote job refJN-092026-7101605Phone number+60323024024Job summaryFunctionITSpecialisationSecurityWhat is your area of specialisation?Technology & TelecomsLocationMalaysiaContract TypeTemporaryConsultant nameCharlene FernandezConsultant contact+60323024024Job ReferenceJN-092026-7101605Work from HomeWork from Home or Hybrid
