Technical Manager - Rubber Sealing

Our client is looking for a Technical Manager, responsible for leading sealing product manufacturing and ensuring production targets are achieved. The person will work closely with Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, and other teams to improve performance and support business growth. They will also lead factory improvement projects by introducing new equipment and technologies, supporting investment decisions, and ensuring successful implementation in production.

  • Expertise covers injection molding, transfer molding, and compression molding

Job Description

Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Define the company's technical roadmap and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Act as the highest technical authority for products, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • Lead technical decision-making for complex production and customer issues.
  • Drive continuous improvement of technical standards and manufacturing excellence. Product, Materials & Customer Applications
  • Review customer applications and recommend appropriate sealing solutions.
  • Define material selection (including material surface coating) and support compound development.
  • Lead technical discussions with customers on new applications.
  • Support RFQs by validating technical feasibility and manufacturing approach.



Manufacturing Technology & Industrialization

  • Define the optimal manufacturing process (compression, transfer, injection molding, etc.) for new products.
  • Lead the introduction of new production technologies, equipment and manufacturing methods (recommend best technol ogy, support in machine installation and setup).
  • Develop process standards and ensure successful industrialization of new products.
  • Ensure effective technology transfer from equipment suppliers and Group experts to the local organization.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in mechanical or material engineering or equivalent
  • 5 to 10 years significant experience in Rubber envinronment
  • Knowledge on rubber production
  • Knowledge on sealing applications,
  • Strong technical problem solving skills
  • Project Management experience
  • CAD/ Autocad experience
  • Knowledge of IT-Tools (MS Office, Sales Tools)
