Job Description

  • Manage all tax compliance processes, including preparing and reviewing tax returns.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax filings in line with local regulations.
  • Oversee treasury operations, including cash flow management and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement efficient tax strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
  • Partner with external auditors and tax consultants to address compliance matters.
  • Monitor and analyze financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance and training to the finance team on tax and treasury matters.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for senior management review.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax & Treasury Manager should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tax regulations and treasury management practices.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools.
  • Experience in the retail industry is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment in Klang Valley.
