As part of a newly centralised operating model, they are investing heavily in planning capabilities and supply chain excellence across multiple marketsJob DescriptionLead short- and mid-term supply planning activities across multiple markets.Drive inventory availability while balancing inventory policies, service levels, and working capital objectives.Manage exception handling processes, identifying supply risks and developing prioritisation scenarios to mitigate disruptions.Collaborate closely with demand planning, supply planning, allocation, master data, and commercial stakeholders to ensure alignment across the supply chain.Oversee regional co-packing planning, including volume forecasting, execution monitoring, and component ordering.Support and contribute to S&OP processes through scenario planning, performance reviews, and consolidated replenishment inputs.Drive inventory optimisation initiatives, including the reduction and rebalancing of slow-moving and obsolete stock.Lead planning activities relating to product lifecycle management, including phase-in and phase-out (PIPO) planning.Manage export replenishment activities from a regional hub to multiple markets, ensuring service excellence and cost optimisation.Champion new processes and tools introduced through the organisation's supply chain transformation programme while embedding harmonised ways of working across the region.The Successful ApplicantA successful Supply Planning Manager should have:Proven experience in replenishment planning, supply planning, inventory management, or broader supply chain planning functions.Strong understanding of MRP, DDMRP, inventory management principles, and replenishment methodologies.Experience managing complex planning environments across multiple countries or business units.Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to make trade-off decisions under supply constraints.Proficiency with planning and reporting tools such as Anaplan, Power BI, ERP systems, or equivalent platforms.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.Experience leading teams and developing planning capabilities within a regional environment.Comfortable operating within change and transformation programmes.Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage stakeholders across different markets and cultures.What's on OfferOpportunity to play a key role in a major regional supply chain transformation.Leadership exposure within a newly created regional supply chain organisation.Significant cross-functional collaboration with regional and global stakeholders.Opportunity to shape planning processes, governance frameworks, and future operating models.Strong career development and progression opportunities within a multinational environment.Exposure to advanced planning tools and supply chain best practices.This is a role for skilled professionals in Malaysia to advance their careers in the FMCG industry.
