Job Description

  • Lead demand forecasting and supply planning in collaboration with business units and global manufacturing teams
  • Design and implement optimal distribution and inventory strategies, including hub‑and‑spoke models
  • Establish forecast governance, inventory guidelines, and processes to maintain optimal stock levels
  • Ensure end‑to‑end supply chain alignment and visibility across demand, production, and in‑transit materials
  • Oversee daily order management shared services operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and service quality
  • Lead, develop, and engage the shared services team to drive performance and continuous improvement
  • Standardise, streamline, and automate order management processes, including regional harmonisation initiatives
  • Manage complex customer orders, complaints, and escalations effectively
  • Leverage SAP systems and reporting to ensure data accuracy and support informed decision‑making
  • Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, tax requirements, and trade policies
  • Coordinate with external trade and logistics partners to meet regulatory and operational expectations
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies across multiple product categories, balancing cost, service, and sustainability
  • Oversee warehousing operations, inventory movement, and product lifecycle management
  • Control logistics costs within budget while maximising operational efficiency
  • Monitor 3PL performance through regular KPI reviews and implement corrective actions when required
  • Manage stakeholder and vendor performance, identifying risks, trends, and future operational needs

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Manager should have:

  • Strong analytical and presentation capabilities with solid expertise in supply chain operations
  • Proven team leader who is collaborative, driven, and highly motivated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across stakeholders
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and discretion at all times
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in supply chain management, logistics, or shared services, including people management exposure
  • Strong working knowledge of planning and budgeting, logistics operations, and basic finance and accounting principles
  • Hands‑on experience with SAP systems, particularly SD and MM modules, is an advantage
  • In‑depth understanding of regulatory frameworks, governing bodies, and compliance requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline
