Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement and supply chain strategies to meet organisational objectives.
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimising waste.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure favourable terms.
  • Analyse supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in procurement and supply chain processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team to enhance performance and achieve targets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain activities with broader organisational goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Supply Chain Director should have:

  • Proven experience in procurement and supply chain management.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Ability to analyse data and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
