Job Description

  • Communicate independently with business stakeholders to gather and analyze business
  • requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Design and develop data models as part of Lenovo SCI-related projects.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and database objects.
  • Participate in data warehouse development, ensuring scalability, performance, and data accuracy.
  • Design and implement ETL workflows to support complex data processing requirements.
  • Monitor and support production data systems, including troubleshooting and resolving data-related incidents.
  • Perform database performance tuning and optimization to improve system efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain proper documentation for system design, data models, and operational procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful SQL Developer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL programming and database management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of database architecture and optimization techniques.
  • Experience with database security and data integrity best practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies in the Technology & Telecoms industry.
