Job Description

As a Site Design Engineer (C&S), you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Civil & Structural design activities for telecommunications base transceiver station projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and review Civil & Structural designs for BTS deployment projects.
  • Ensure design standardization, quality control, and timely delivery of project milestones.
  • Conduct Technical Site Surveys (TSS), prepare Technical Site Survey Reports, and develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Coordinate with clients, project implementation teams, contractors, and engineering stakeholders on site design matters.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable specifications, standards, and project requirements.
  • Manage work assignments and coordinate implementation contractors throughout project execution.
  • Monitor and ensure the quality of Civil & Structural works during implementation.
  • Verify that all project activities are completed according to approved specifications, requirements, and schedules.
  • Prepare and maintain all C&S-related as-built documentation.
  • Provide regular progress updates and reports on ongoing project activities.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Microsoft Project
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • AutoCAD
    • STAAD Pro
    • MS Tower
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.
