Job Description

  • Own the design and development of backend services with a focus on scalability, robustness, and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot production issues at scale, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement long‑term fixes
  • Lead legacy system refactoring and modernization, reducing technical debt
  • Conduct technical assessments for new features, including feasibility and impact analysis
  • Enforce clean code standards through strong code reviews
  • Work closely with frontend, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders
  • Proactively suggest platform, tooling, and automation improvements

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Software Engineer (C#/ .Net) should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in complex, production environments
  • Strong hands‑on skills in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Web API, and SQL Server
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy systems and managing technical debt
  • Confidence in troubleshooting production issues and delivering lasting solutions
  • A solid understanding of system design, architecture, and API best practices
  • A natural sense of ownership and accountability, with a proactive mindset
  • Comfort working closely with cross‑functional teams and mentoring other engineers
