Job Description

  • Execute software development lifecycles which includes planning, analysis, design, implementation and testing
  • Review product/feature requirements and write software requirement specification documents
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and debug software to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams such as engineers to evaluate the interface between hardware and software , and the operational and performance requirements of the overall system
  • Implement software enhancements and updates to improve system functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth system operation.
  • Document software designs, technical specifications, and user manuals for reference.
  • Stay updated with the latest technologies and best practices in C++ development and industrial applications.

The Successful Applicant

A successful (Senior) Software Engineer (C++) should have:

  • Good background in C, C++, Python, VB.NET or C# programming languages
  • Proven experience in managing and leading software development teams.
  • Minimum 6 years experienced in semiconductor/machine automation industry.
  • Minimum 3 years experienced in management role.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Ability to solve complex technical issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of industrial/manufacturing software applications is an advantage.
  • A proactive approach to staying current with technological advancements
