Job Description

  • Manage and oversee end-to-end payroll activities, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
  • Review payroll data, calculations, adjustments, deductions, and statutory requirements to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, reporting, and control activities.
  • Partner with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payroll-related issues and queries.
  • Ensure payroll processes comply with company policies, local regulations, and internal controls.
  • Monitor payroll performance and identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Support payroll governance and maintain payroll documentation, procedures, and process controls
  • Participate in payroll-related projects, process transformation initiatives, and system enhancements.
  • Support implementation of new payroll processes, controls, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to deliver payroll improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in process mapping, requirement gathering, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and change management activities.
  • Drive standardisation and automation efforts to improve payroll efficiency and employee experience.
  • Provide project updates and status reporting to management.
  • Act as a key point of contact for payroll-related matters and escalations.
  • Build effective working relationships across regional and global teams.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll operations, payroll administration, or payroll shared services.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll processes.
  • Exposure to payroll transformation, process improvement, system implementation, or project-based initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of payroll controls, compliance requirements, and payroll governance.
  • Experience working within multinational or shared services environments is preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable engaging with regional and global stakeholders, including occasional collaboration with UK and US teams.
