Job Description

  • Lead the finance function and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare management accounts and financial updates to support business decisions.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting activities to help the business plan effectively.
  • Review financial performance and highlight key trends, variances and areas for attention.
  • Maintain clear financial records and effective finance processes.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to provide practical financial input.
  • Oversee month-end activities and ensure financial information is completed on schedule.
  • Improve finance reporting and processes where appropriate to support efficient operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Finance Manager should have:

  • Strong experience in financial reporting, management accounts and month-end activities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Sound financial analysis skills, including the ability to explain performance variances.
  • Experience providing financial information to support business planning and decisions.
  • Confidence in reviewing finance processes and improving reporting quality.
  • Ability to manage finance priorities in a structured and timely manner.
