Job Description

  • Provide legal advice and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Assist in managing corporate governance and regulatory filings.
  • Conduct legal research and provide updates on legislative changes.
  • Support internal audits and investigations related to compliance matters.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address legal and compliance risks effectively.
  • Assist in developing and implementing compliance training programmes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Executive, Legal and Compliance should have:

  • A degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Compliance, Regulatory Compliance, AML/CFT, Risk Management, Internal Audit, or Legal & Regulatory Affairs.
  • Proficiency in legal drafting and interpretation of contracts.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks in the financial services industry.
  • Experience in corporate governance and compliance processes.
  • Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
