Job Description

  • Monitor and support enterprise ETL and Data Lake environments to ensure smooth daily operations
  • Ensure scheduled batch jobs are completed successfully
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents and data processing issues
  • Support deployment activities, job scheduling, and production environment changes
  • Validate critical data loads, reconciliations, and data quality controls
  • Proactively monitor system performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineering, Platform, and Business teams to ensure data availability and accuracy
  • Provide operational reporting, stakeholder communications, and support during critical processing cycles

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior ETL Developer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience supporting ETL, Data Warehouse, or Data Lake environments
  • Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL (Teradata and/or Oracle) for data validation, troubleshooting, and analysis
  • Exposure to modern data technologies such as Hadoop, Azure, Databricks
  • Practical experience with Python or Scala, as well as UNIX Shell Scripting
  • A proven ability to investigate production issues, monitor batch processes, and ensure successful delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and effective when managing critical incidents
