Job Description

  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on facility and utility equipment.
  • Ensure all facility utilities consistently support manufacturing operations with minimal downtime.
  • Develop, monitor, and improve preventive maintenance programmes and performance tracking systems.
  • Drive energy optimisation initiatives and identify opportunities for utility cost reduction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HVAC, OFA, compressed air, ventilation, and cleanroom systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance shutdown activities and ensure smooth execution.
  • Lead or support cleanroom recertification activities, including HEPA filter replacement, validation, and documentation.
  • Manage external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and compliance standards are met.
  • Maintain GMP and ISO compliance while supporting audits and regulatory inspections.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance facility reliability and operational efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on facilities engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in HVAC, OFA, cleanroom environmental control systems, ventilation, and compressed air systems.
  • Proven troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for facility and utility equipment.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance planning and shutdown management.
  • Hands-on experience with cleanroom recertification, HEPA filter replacement, validation, and reporting.
  • Good understanding of GMP, ISO standards, and regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience managing contractors and vendors effectively.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on reliability, efficiency, and compliance.
