Job Description

  • Design logical and physical data models that support business and technology needs.
  • Define data structures, relationships and naming standards to improve data consistency.
  • Review existing data models and identify practical improvements to data design.
  • Work with Technology teams to translate system needs into clear data model requirements.
  • Document data models, definitions and relationships for accurate use across systems.
  • Maintain data model artefacts to reflect approved changes and system updates.
  • Help ensure data designs can support reporting, integration and application needs.
  • Provide clear guidance on data modelling practices for Technology projects.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Modeler should have:

  • Strong practical experience designing logical and physical data models.
  • Knowledge of data structures, entity relationships and data modelling standards.
  • Ability to translate business and system requirements into clear data designs.
  • Experience reviewing and improving existing data models.
  • Ability to document data definitions, relationships and model changes accurately.
  • Confidence working with Technology teams on system and integration requirements.
