Job Description

  • Analyze and monitor cost structures to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and analyze variances to improve financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop cost-effective solutions and enhance profitability.
  • Maintain accurate cost accounting records and ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed cost analysis.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and process optimization within the manufacturing operations.
  • Prepare management reports to provide insights into cost performance and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting systems and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Costing Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, particularly in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
