Job Description

  • Prepare and manage accurate financial reports in compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Support the preparation of statutory accounts and audit requirements.
  • Perform reconciliations of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial controls and compliance procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting needs.
  • Provide backup support for other accounting functions as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the accounting and finance department.

The Successful Applicant

A successful RTR Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience within the retail industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
