Job Description

  • Manage general ledger processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closings.
  • Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities as required by the Accounting & Finance department.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems or tools.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and regulations

The Successful Applicant

A successful RTR Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work setting.
