The Regional Service Engineer will be responsible to provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting expertise, and guidance to customers and engineering teams across the region. The role also leads technical training, escalation management, spare parts planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high service standards and operational excellence.

Job Description

  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and regional engineering teams
  • Learn and maintain expertise on new products through ongoing training and knowledge sharing
  • Develop training materials and manage regional training programs for engineers
  • Assess and improve engineers' technical capabilities through regular evaluations
  • Serve as the main escalation point for complex technical issues across the region
  • Diagnose, simulate and troubleshoot hardware and system-related problems
  • Coordinate with global technical teams on product and service-related matters
  • Monitor and manage spare parts inventory to support service operations
  • Prepare operational, performance and ad hoc technical reports
  • Develop and implement service processes, procedures and technical service standards
  • Work closely with sales, product management and pre-sales teams to support business objectives

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical break-fix or field service environment
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a technical trainer, advisor or mentor
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware failures down to component level
  • Knowledge of industrial printing applications and technologies
  • Basic understanding of colour management concepts
  • Strong presentation and training delivery skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Team-oriented with experience working across cultures and functions
