The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales and marketing activities across ASEAN for a global testing instrumentation organisation. The role is responsible for driving growth through strategic account management, new business development and disciplined sales execution.

Job Description

    • Own and execute the sales and go‑to‑market strategy for capital equipment and accessories
    • Develop and manage key strategic accounts, expanding penetration both horizontally and vertically
    • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities while growing existing customer relationships
    • Lead the full sales cycle end‑to‑end, from initial engagement through proposal, negotiation and order closure
    • Work cross‑functionally with marketing, service and engineering teams to ensure commercial and technical viability
    • Negotiate pricing, delivery, technical and commercial terms with customers
    • Forecast bookings, manage pipelines and deliver accurate sales reporting
    • Act as the primary customer interface, representing the organisation at senior stakeholder level
    • Gather market and competitive intelligence and translate insights into actionable strategy
    • Maintain disciplined sales processes, CRM hygiene and ISO‑related documentation where required



The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Sales Manager should have:

  • Degree‑qualified, preferably in mechanical engineering, materials science or similar
  • At least 8 years of experience selling capital equipment or technical instrumentation
  • Strong understanding of direct sales methodologies within a B2B environment
  • In‑depth knowledge of materials testing applications and/or industrial processes
  • Proven ability to manage a multi-million dollar business scope
  • Strong written, technical and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer‑centric, results‑driven and action‑oriented
  • Comfortable working across multiple markets with regular regional travel
  • Resilient, persuasive and effective at building long‑term professional networks
