Job Description

Quality Leadership

  • Lead and develop the site's Quality Engineers, Technicians, and Inspectors.
  • Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and accountability measures.
  • Promote a strong quality-first culture throughout the organization.



Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Maintain and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
  • Lead management reviews and ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate customer, internal, and external audits.



Customer Quality Management

  • Manage customer complaints, field failures, and corrective actions.
  • Lead 8D investigations, CAPA implementation, and root cause analysis.
  • Drive customer satisfaction while managing quality-related escalations.



Manufacturing Quality & Continuous Improvement

  • Support production operations in reducing defects and improving process capability.
  • Drive SPC, statistical analysis, and quality performance metrics.
  • Lead FAI, PPAP, product qualification, and equipment qualification activities (IQ/OQ/PQ).



Operational Excellence

  • Lead cross-functional quality improvement projects.
  • Chair Material Review Board activities for non-conforming products.
  • Monitor scrap, DPPM, quality costs, returns, and quality-related operational KPIs.



The Successful Applicant

Essential Background

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years' quality experience within manufacturing.
  • At least 4 years leading quality teams.
  • Strong ISO 9001 and quality systems expertise.
  • Experienceutilizing quality tools including:
    • 8D
    • CAPA
    • SPC
    • Root Cause Analysis
    • Six Sigma methodologies
    • Statistical analysis tools (Minitab preferred)



Strong understanding of:

  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Engineering drawings
  • Precision mechanical components
  • Inspection methodologies



Hands-on familiarity with:

  • Calipers
  • Micrometers
  • Microscopes
  • Precision measurement systems

What's on Offer

  • Salary: Up to RM15,000 monthly, with flexibility for exceptional candidates.
  • Fixed allowances: RM1,450 monthly.
