Job Description

  • Lead quality assurance activities across technology delivery work to help maintain consistent testing standards.
  • Plan test activities, priorities and timelines in line with agreed delivery needs.
  • Review requirements and user journeys to identify test scenarios and coverage needs.
  • Coordinate test execution and track progress to support clear delivery decisions.
  • Document defects clearly and follow them through to resolution with relevant teams.
  • Maintain test evidence and reporting to provide an accurate view of quality status.
  • Identify testing gaps and propose practical improvements to quality assurance processes.
  • Work closely with technology colleagues to support reliable system releases.

The Successful Applicant

A successful 'Qa Lead' should have:

  • Strong practical capability in quality assurance and software testing.
  • Experience planning and coordinating test activities across technology delivery work.
  • Ability to create clear test scenarios from business and technical requirements.
  • Confidence in documenting defects, test results and quality status.
  • Good understanding of test coverage, defect tracking and release readiness.
  • Ability to identify process gaps and apply practical testing improvements.
