Job Description

  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and professional development
  • Allocate resources effectively to support project demands and business objectives
  • Monitor project performance to ensure milestones, budgets and quality standards are achieved
  • Take ownership of project execution from initiation through completion and customer sign-off
  • Collaborate with internal departments to align priorities, resolve issues and optimise delivery outcomes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
  • Identify and implement improvement initiatives that enhance productivity, efficiency and operational performance
  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities and timelines
  • Lead cross-functional teams across different regions and cultures to achieve project goals
  • Prepare and present project progress updates, risks and performance metrics to management

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • Proven experience managing complex engineering, manufacturing or industrial projects
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management and cost control principles
  • Experience working with ERP systems for planning, scheduling and project tracking
  • SAP exposure would be advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Self-motivated, organised and committed to delivering outstanding customer outcomes
