Job Description

  • Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards
  • Plan and execute production schedules to meet volume, delivery timelines, and customer requirements
  • Monitor and analyze KPIs (e.g., OEE, yield, energy usage, manufacturing cost) to drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and legal requirements across all operations
  • Drive process stability, yield improvement, and first-time-right performance initiatives
  • Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for production and quality issues
  • Optimize manpower, equipment, and material utilization to control costs and improve productivity
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with supply chain, maintenance, and commercial teams to enhance operations
  • Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and production teams to achieve operational excellence
  • Prepare and present production performance reports and insights to senior management

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical or process manufacturing environments
  • Minimum 5 years in a production or operations management role
  • Strong knowledge of chemical processes, including powder handling and blending operations
  • Proven leadership, team management, and decision‑making capabilities
  • Proficiency in production planning, process optimization, and SAP or ERP systems
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and industrial safety management systems
  • Strong adaptability with a hands on involvement in production operations
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
