Job Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and select suitable suppliers to support new projects
  • Ensure competitive pricing, low minimum order quantities, and short lead times
  • Source new suppliers for diverse customer RFQs
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering to align product specifications with supplier capabilities
  • Manage RFQ processes through SAP and offline channels, including negotiations
  • Maintain accurate pricing records in SAP
  • Build and sustain strong supplier relationships
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned by the company

The Successful Applicant

A successful Product Sourcing Specialist should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in supplier development (industrial products background preferred)
  • Knowledge of fastening materials, C-parts, MRO, or related products (advantageous)
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred)
  • Familiar with international sourcing and import/export regulations
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings (added advantage)
