The company is seeking an experienced planning leader to strengthen planning capabilities, optimize inventory performance, and support ongoing supply chain transformation initiatives.

Job Description

  • Lead production planning, inventory, logistics, and shipping operations.
  • Drive MPS, MRP, JIT, and planning best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Partner with Sales and Operations to ensure strong delivery performance and OTIF.
  • Optimize inventory levels and reduce excess or slow-moving stock.
  • Improve planning processes, SOPs, and supply chain workflows.
  • Drive automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead and develop the planning team to achieve business and operational KPIs.
  • Enhance overall supply chain performance through data-driven decision-making.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Planning Manager should have:

  • 10+ years of planning, supply chain, or manufacturing experience within a production environment.
  • Strong background in production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience with MPS, MRP, inventory optimization, JIT, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven ability to improve planning processes, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, planning tools, and advanced Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing planning teams.
