Job Description

  • Lead a team of patching engineers, ensuring alignment toward shared objectives and successful delivery.
  • Utilize PowerShell and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) to read and write data from various file types, load script modules, run program functions, and perform core administrative tasks such as retrieving information from remote machines.
  • Support strong team performance by contributing to team dynamics and providing constructive feedback to the infrastructure team.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation, including daily and weekly progress reports.
  • Conduct monthly service review meetings with key stakeholders to report progress and address concerns.
  • Create and manage Incident, Service Request, and Change Request tickets using ITSM tools.
  • Respond promptly to email alerts and ITSM tickets, providing timely updates to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Review and update business SLA documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with operational standards.



The Successful Applicant

A successful Patching Lead should have:

  • Bachelor in Computer Science or related discipline;
  • >5 years relevant working experiences in Windows/Linux patching technology
  • Holder of ITIL Foundation or above is a plus.
  • Experience with RPA Software (e.g. UI Path) advantageous
  • Experience in PowerShell/Unix scripting is a must
  • Basic understanding of Windows/Linux operating systems
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, Can-do attitude and able to work under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese is a plus.
  • Knowing in virtualization (VMware) technology is a plus.
  • Standard office hours working hours with possibility of weekend standbys.
