Job Description

  • Monitor network and data centre infrastructure to help maintain reliable service availability.
  • Investigate network incidents and resolve technical issues within agreed response times.
  • Carry out routine checks on data centre equipment and network connections.
  • Document incidents, actions taken and technical findings to maintain clear operational records.
  • Escalate complex faults to the appropriate technical teams for prompt resolution.
  • Coordinate planned maintenance activities to reduce disruption to business services.
  • Review system alerts and report recurring issues that may affect network performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Network Data Centre (Dc) Engineer should have:

  • Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching environments in BFSI domain.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Cisco Catalyst Switches
    • Cisco Nexus Data Centre Switches
  • Minimum 4 years of experience implementing Enterprise Wireless solutions.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with:
    • VMware NSX
    • NSX Distributed Firewall (DFW)
    • Enterprise Firewall technologies
  • Proven experience deploying and supporting enterprise network infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • TCP/IP
    • VLANs
    • STP
    • OSPF
    • BGP
    • VRRP/HSRP
  • Working knowledge of network firewalls and load balancers.
  • Conceptual understanding of DNS and SD-WAN technologies.
  • Experience supporting network migrations, upgrades, and transformation programmes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Banking industry experience is highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Must be committed to working within a contract-based project environment.



Highly Advantageous:

  • Experience within enterprise data centre environments.
  • Exposure to network automation and scripting using Python or Ansible.
  • Cloud networking experience across AWS or Azure.
  • Professional certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, VCP-NV, or VMware NSX certifications.
  • Experience working in customer-facing project delivery environments.
