Job Description

  • Support and maintain MES, Shop Floor Control and related manufacturing applications
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to minimize operational downtime
  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into effective IT solutions
  • Develop and enhance system functionalities using JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET technologies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technology solutions that improve manufacturing processes and productivity
  • Provide user training, documentation, and system guidance to ensure smooth adoption of applications
  • Participate in and lead IT-related projects, driving continuous improvements across the manufacturing environment

The Successful Applicant

A successful MES Specialist should have:

  • Min. 5 years of experience in MES, manufacturing systems, or IT application support and development within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with JavaScript, VB/VB.NET, and .NET technologies
  • Strong understanding of MES processes, production workflows, Shop Floor Control (SFC), and ERP systems
  • Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues and deliver effective solutions
  • Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work closely with business users and cross-functional IT teams
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into practical system enhancements
