Job Description

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies to optimise material costs and ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise waste.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to forecast material requirements and streamline procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards in all procurement activities.
  • Monitor and analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Lead and mentor the procurement and supply chain team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Prepare and present reports on procurement performance and supply chain efficiency to senior management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Materials Director should have:
