Job Description

  • Provide technical and sustaining engineering support for manufacturing operations.
  • Drive process and equipment improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Optimise vision inspection processes and identify critical AOI parameters.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve production recipes and process controls.
  • Analyse manufacturing yield performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Utilise AOI and vision inspection equipment, including systems such as Koh Young, Zenith 3D AOI, and Vitrox AVI.
  • Conduct statistical analysis using DOE, SPC, and other data-driven methodologies to identify root causes and improve yield performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Engineers, Equipment Engineers, Production Teams, Technicians, and external vendors.
  • Ensure process compatibility with product design and development requirements.
  • Support qualification activities and manufacturing readiness for volume production growth.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant manufacturing or process engineering experience.
  • Semiconductor manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across equipment, process, and production environments.
  • Experience with statistical tools and methodologies such as DOE and SPC.
  • Familiarity with FMEA, Control Plans, and Process Specifications.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
