A global industrial technology company specialising in advanced power solutions, with a strong focus on electronics and complex manufacturing. They operate through a network of contract manufacturing partners and emphasise innovation, quality, and scalable production processes.

Job Description

  • Act as the main manufacturing engineering contact for contract manufacturing partners
  • Provide technical oversight on processes, tooling, and production readiness
  • Drive Design for Excellence (DfX) initiatives (DFM, DFA, DFQ, etc.)
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and product transfers
  • Lead process optimisation, yield improvement, and cost reduction initiatives
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure quality compliance and participate in audits
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, supply chain, and programme teams
  • Evaluate suppliers and manufacturing capabilities during sourcing decisions



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Proven experience in contract manufacturing or supplier environments
  • Strong knowledge of Design for Excellence (DFx) principles
  • Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Exposure to electronics / PCBA / electromechanical manufacturing is a plus
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and NPI frameworks preferred
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification is advantageous
