Job Description

  • Support manufacturing and product engineering activities for electro-mechanical assemblies and box-build products.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and external suppliers.
  • Manage engineering changes, process documentation, work instructions, and product transfers.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and resolve manufacturing-related technical issues.
  • Monitor manufacturing performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and operational standards.



The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within electro-mechanical manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or box-build assembly environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with experience in troubleshooting manufacturing processes.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar approaches would be advantageous.
  • Candidates from electronics, industrial equipment, instrumentation, automation, or related manufacturing sectors are highly preferred.
  • Candidates whose experience is primarily within injection moulding or semiconductor manufacturing are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
