Job Description

  • Lead regional logistics and distribution operations across different countries.
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies to support business growth and operational efficiency.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics activities, including plant-to-warehouse movements, warehousing and distribution operations.
  • Oversee the performance and governance of third-party logistics providers, including warehouse and transportation operations.
  • Drive service level improvements, process optimisation and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain network.
  • Lead warehouse operations standards, inventory control and logistics performance management.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across supply chain, customer service, planning, procurement and commercial teams.
  • Ensure compliance with logistics, transportation and warehousing regulations within the region.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of logistics professionals to deliver business objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Logistics Lead should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience within logistics, warehousing and distribution operations in the FMCG industry.
  • Strong experience managing 3PL warehouse providers and logistics partners.
  • Experience overseeing regional operations across Southeast Asia is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational efficiencies and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the capability to balance operational execution and long-term planning.
  • Prior people management experience with a proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • SAP or other ERP system experience will be an advantage. Based on the original JD's preference for SAP exposure and regional logistics coordination.
