Job Description

  • Manage a range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including commercial and property-related disputes.
  • Liaise with and manage external counsel on ongoing legal matters and litigation strategy.
  • Review legal documents, pleadings, submissions, and settlement agreements.
  • Provide legal advice on commercial agreements, project development, and tenancy matters.
  • Support regulatory compliance, risk management, and legal governance initiatives.
  • Monitor legal developments and provide practical legal guidance to the business.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Legal Counsel should have:

  • Qualified lawyer admitted to the Malaysian Bar (or equivalent).
  • Min. 5 years' PQE with strong exposure to commercial, employment, and compliance matters.
  • Experience in litigation, dispute resolution, arbitration, or mediation preferred.
  • Estate and family dispute experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and sound legal judgment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Able to manage multiple matters independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience working with external counsel and handling confidential matters.
