Job Description

  • Lead and oversee strategic analytics and data engineering projects.
  • Manage the end-to-end development of BI dashboards, reporting solutions, and data pipelines.
  • Coordinate and govern external vendors delivering data engineering initiatives.
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures, ETL processes, and cloud-based analytics solutions.
  • Engage closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Drive data modelling, reporting, and dashboarding best practices using modern analytics platforms.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, testing, and continuous improvement of analytics systems.
  • Support project planning, resource coordination, and successful delivery of analytics initiatives.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders within an agile environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead/Senior Data Engineer should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, or Data Platform delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Python, SQL, Power BI.
  • Experience building and managing data pipelines and enterprise analytics solutions.
  • Proven track record in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Experience leading projects, coordinating vendors, or mentoring team members.
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data architecture, and reporting frameworks.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, low-micromanagement environment.
