Job Description

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale web and mobile applications
  • Drive architecture decisions and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions
  • Provide technical leadership across development teams and mentor engineers
  • Manage application delivery, production support, incident resolution, and performance optimization
  • Champion DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and modern software engineering practices
  • Collaborate with business, product, testing, security, and vendor teams to deliver quality outcomes
  • Evaluate and integrate third-party technologies while ensuring compliance and security standards
  • Contribute to innovation initiatives including Cloud, Automation, AI, and GenAI adoption

The Successful Applicant

A successful Lead Software Engineer (POS) should have:

  • Min 10 years of experience developing and maintaining software applications.
  • Strong expertise in JAVA 17 and above, Springboot, RESTful APIs, VueJS, Javascript & Typescript
  • Experience with Micro Frontend Architecture, Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture, AWS or Cloud Platforms, DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
  • Ability to design practical technical solutions based on business requirements.
  • Experience reviewing code and supporting sound development practices.
  • Capability to investigate system issues and deliver effective fixes.
  • Experience preparing clear technical documentation.
  • Ability to work with stakeholders to understand and address system needs.
