Job Description

  • Design, implement, and manage IP security solutions to safeguard network infrastructure.
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system security policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Perform regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
  • Respond to and resolve security incidents promptly to minimize impact on operations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in IP security.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for security systems and protocols.
  • Provide training and support to internal teams on security measures and protocols.

The Successful Applicant

A successful IP Security Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IP security protocols and network technologies.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting network traffic and security logs.
  • Certifications such as CCNA Security, CCNP Security, or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
