This role will be responsible for driving cost optimization, supplier performance, contract management, and procurement strategies across multiple sites within the Asia region.Job DescriptionDevelop and execute global sourcing strategies for:Facilities Management ServicesReal Estate & Property Management3PL WarehousingUtilities (Electricity, Gas, Water, Liquid Nitrogen, Compressed Air, Gensets, etc.)Security, Janitorial, and Other Site ServicesManage supplier selection, contract negotiations, RFQ/RFP activities, and supplier performance management.Drive cost-saving initiatives, supplier consolidation, contract optimization, and sourcing best practices across the facilities category.Establish and maintain cost-tracking mechanisms to improve spend visibility, forecasting, and financial transparency.Lead energy efficiency and utility optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce overall operating costs.Partner closely with Facilities, Operations, Finance, Legal, and project teams to support factory expansions, new site setups, and infrastructure projects.Monitor supplier performance through scorecards, business reviews, and continuous improvement programs to ensure quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved.Analyze market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes to support strategic sourcing decisions and mitigate supply risks.Drive supplier relationship management and develop contingency plans to ensure business continuity and supply resilience.Support Procure-to-Pay activities including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, supplier management, and compliance with procurement policies and governance requirements.Ensure all sourcing activities comply with corporate procurement processes, approved vendor requirements, and ethical sourcing standards.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Facility Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience in Strategic Procurement, Commodity Management, or Category Management within:Facilities ManagementReal EstateInfrastructureUtilities3PL WarehousingExperience managing regional or global spend portfolios and category sourcing strategies.Strong exposure to:Strategic SourcingContract NegotiationSupplier Relationship ManagementSpend AnalysisCost Reduction InitiativesProcure-to-Pay ProcessesExperience supporting manufacturing or electronics manufacturing environments would be highly advantageous.Good understanding of facilities operations, utility contracts, infrastructure lifecycle costs, and supplier performance management.Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively across Procurement, Operations, Facilities, Finance, and Legal teams.Proficiency in SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP systems.Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.What's on OfferBe part of a globally recognised organisation.Work in a dynamic, innovative environment with opportunities for growth.Competitive remuneration and benefits packageContactVictor DharmarajaQuote job refJN-092026-7094005Phone number+60323024108Job summaryFunctionProcurement & Supply ChainSpecialisationIndirect ProcurementWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationPenangContract TypePermanentConsultant nameVictor DharmarajaConsultant contact+60323024108Job ReferenceJN-092026-7094005
