Job Description

  • Advanced expertise in the Incident Management process, including procedures and standard operating workflows.
  • Intermediate knowledge in managing IT-related incidents across Infrastructure, Security, and Application domains.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experienced in using BMC Helix ITSM and other ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow or OpenText.
  • Excellent communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
  • Proven ability to lead and guide team members in understanding, delivering, and maintaining high-quality work standards.
  • Demonstrated capability to drive improvements and implement changes to enhance operational productivity.
  • Strong decision-making skills, with accountability, sound judgment, effective problem-solving, prudent risk assessment, and customer-centric thinking.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships based on respect, integrity, open communication, teamwork, negotiation, influence, and effective customer relationship management at all levels.
  • Skilled in influencing without authority and collaborating effectively with internal clients and stakeholders.
  • Experienced in leading high-performance teams, fostering continuous learning, coaching, recognition, and exceptional customer service.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with vendors to encourage positive behaviors, support new engagements, and strengthen existing partnerships.
  • Capable of preparing reports required for customer deliverables.
  • Ensure all documentation, including processes, SOPs, and manuals, comply with ISO standards.
  • Participate in and support audits, ISO assessments, and general compliance activities.
  • Able to work shifts or be on-call in a 24×7 operational environment.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Incident Specialist should have:

  • Diploma/ Degree holder in Computer Engineering/Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Incident management.
  • Experience in ITSM tools (BMC Helix) or any equivalent ITSM tools in the market will be added advantage.
  • Experience in Infrastructure, Security and Application IT domains
  • Good problem-solving skills, background analytics, proactive attitude and focus on excellent customer service/support.
  • Driven and able to multi-task, strong time management skills and strong team player.
  • Required Language(s): Cantonese, English, Mandarin
  • Willing to work on shift rotations and standby.
